The Eufy S1 Pro
If you're looking for a robotic vacuum that can also mop, this is the model to look for. It's smaller than other options, making it easier to maneuver into tight corners or under furniture. It features a 220-degree Lidar which, when combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, gives it one of my top navigation and object avoidance features I've seen in a robotic vacuum. It packs a powerful 4600mAh battery that can last for up to 170-minutes when mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it is able to run longer in turbo). It will even return to its dock to recharge its battery during the cleaning.
It is very efficient and does an outstanding job cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It vacuums carpeted rooms extremely quickly and the hardwood floors in the hallways, and living room in a single sweep. Its suction motor of 8,000pa makes short work of picking up dirt, droppings, and pet hair. Carpet detection increases power automatically when it comes in contact with carpets and the dual side brushes help draw out dirt from corners.
The mopping performance, while still impressive, isn't as impressive. The mop's rotating motor spins at a high speed and it pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, effortlessly scraping away dirt and staining. I've noticed that the front arms stick out slightly more than other robots, which is useful to get into tight corners and along baseboards. The same front arms can also be used to collect larger debris like broken toys and books.
The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mop and vacuums I've tried. It doesn't produce the same amount of noise while vacuuming or mopping and is quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The only downside is that the S1 Pro must use a proprietary cleaning solution for mopping, and is separate from the vacuum. It's simple to set up and is effective however, this is something you'll have to keep an eye on when you purchase this vacuum solely for the purpose of mopping.
The Roborock Q Revo
The Q Revo is different from other robot vacuums in its class. It is a powerful cleaner with a range of features.
The device comes with an efficient cleaning system that integrates LiDAR sensor technology with an RGB camera. This enables it to map out the house and detect furniture and other obstacles. The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that can be found in our test, but it has some distinctive features that make it worth considering. auto vacuum is most notable for its massive dock that serves as an charging base for the robot, a sink for cleaning and two water tanks that are 4 liters in size. It also houses two bins: a 2.5-liter dustbin and an 2.5 liter dust bin.
The base comes with several control buttons, which allow you to manually start cleaning tasks, recall the robot or run the dock's automatic emptying procedure. Hold down two of the buttons to switch on the child lock which is a great option for parents concerned about children playing with the vacuum.
The Omni Omni like other robotic vacuums, utilizes its camera to detect furniture and obstacles in its path. It will steer clear of them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.
Unfortunately, this means that the X1 Omni will occasionally get caught up in obstacles, like a power cord draped across a rug--that it becomes stuck and stops working until you free it. This was a rare occurrence however, it was a bit frustrating since the X1 does not have a "stuck status" alert in its application.
The X1 Omni cannot automatically switch from mopping mode to vacuuming mode during cleaning. You'll have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't too bad, except that mopping pads don't get cleaned or dried between use. This could lead to mildew and mold.
The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed its sleek modern, contemporary base and mopping pad. It's a big contrast to the basic black bases of rivals such as Roborock or iRobot. And it's an excellent choice for the market that is dominated by boxy models.
